At Ecopeneer, sustainability is more than just a buzzword – it’s at the core of everything we do. One of our missions is to transform waste into wealth while making a positive impact on the environment and people’s lives.

We are proud to have consistently implemented various zero carbon initiatives throughout our processes.

We recognise the importance of being environmentally responsible and sustainable in all aspects of our business operations.

ESG & Sustainability Policy

Here are some of the ways we are putting our efforts into ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and sustainability:

Carbon Sequestration

We are committed to making sure that the wood we process becomes a carbon sink, sequestering carbon dioxide for the long term. We employ technology and innovative techniques to ensure the small diameter log & juvenile wood to be able to use and convert into high value wood products.

Forest Certification
Our factory is working towards FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certification, ensuring that we only process wood from sustainable plantations and forests. This is in line with our commitment to promoting responsible forest management and sustainable sourcing.
Zero Waste Movement

At Ecopeneer, we are part of the zero waste movement, where we fully utilise all wood traces, including off-cuts and sawdust, to make new products instead of burning them. Even when we do burn these wood traces, we ensure that they go into boilers that cycle the heat back into our processes. This reduces our carbon footprint and promotes a circular economy.

Minimising Carbon Footprint

We are always looking for ways to minimise the carbon footprint of our entire process. This includes employing sustainable practices in our operations, such as reducing waste, monitoring energy use to sequester more CO2 than we emit and solar energy installation in our factory.
